Roger Corbett

Chairman

Mr Roger Corbett has been involved in the retail industry for more than 40 years. In 1984, Mr Corbett joined the board of David Jones Australia as a Director of Operations and in 1990 was appointed to the board of Woolworths Limited and to the position of Managing Director of BigW. In 1999, Mr Corbett was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Woolworths Limited, from which he retired in 2006. Mr Corbett is a Director of the Reserve Bank of Australia, a director of Wal-Mart Stores, Chairman of Fairfax Media Limited and Chairman of PrimeAg Australia Limited.

Ron Best

Non Executive Director

The Hon. Ron Best is a highly respected former member of the Victorian Parliament (1988 to 2002), having held a number of senior positions in the National Party of Australia including; Parliamentary Secretary, Shadow Minister for Housing and Spokesman for Health, Housing, Racing, Sport and Recreation. Mr Best has also been a member of various Parliamentary Committees including the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee, the Environmental and Natural Resources Committee and a Board Member of the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation. Prior to his political career Mr Best was the owner of a successful food distribution business and General Manager of the Glacier Food Group. Mr Best is a Consultant of PFD Food Services Pty Ltd, one of Australia's largest privately owned food service companies.

Bruce Mathieson

Non Executive Director

Mr Bruce Mathieson is currently a director and chief executive officer of Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group Limited, a joint venture between Woolworths Limited and the Mathieson Family. The ALH Group owns approximately 260 hotels and 450 retail outlets across Australia, and employs more than 14,000 staff. The total annual turnover of the ALH Group is in excess of $1.6 billion.  Mr Mathieson has operated in the hotel, leisure and hospitality industry since 1974 and is a well respected member of the Australian business community. He has previously served as a director of the Carlton Football Club. He is trained as an engineer, and brings management and transactional experience from across a number of industries to the Board.

Ian Scholes

Non Executive Director

Mr Ian Scholes has extensive financial and corporate advisory experience, both in Australia and internationally.  Mr Scholes has held senior roles within Merrill Lynch Australia, most recently as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and continues to have an ongoing advisory role.  Previously Mr Scholes has held the position of Executive General Manager in National Australia Bank running their corporate and institutional banking division.  Mr Scholes is currently a partner and Chief Executive Officer of Chord Capital Pty Ltd, a Director of St Vincent’s Health and is Chairman of the St Vincent’s Foundation.

Scott Richards

CEO, Managing Director

Mr Richards has more than 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has worked in Europe, the US and Asia. Prior to joining Mayne Pharma, he was President, European Operations and Global Hospital Business of Intas Pharmaceutical Limited where he was responsible for managing their operations in Europe as well as developing the global hospital business with a focus on commercialisation of biosimilar and oncology products. He was also Executive Vice President of the Global Hospital Generics Business at Actavis and spent four years with Mayne Pharma Limited and 14 years with F H Faulding & Co Limited in various roles.

Phil Hodges

President Metrics, Inc. & Executive Director

Mr Phil Hodges has been involved in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years and founded the Metrics business in 1994. Mr Hodges is currently the President of Metrics and responsible for guiding the strategic direction and growth of the company. Since 1994, Mr Hodges has overseen the transition of Metrics from a start-up analytical laboratory with four employees to a speciality pharmaceutical company with a portfolio of niche generic products. Prior to starting Metrics, Mr Hodges spent 11 years at Burroughs Wellcome Co. (which became part of GlaxoSmithKline) in the development and validation of analytical methods.

Mark Cansdale

CFO & Company Secretary

Mr Cansdale is a chartered accountant and company secretary with more than 20 years’ experience in the accounting and finance profession. Mr Cansdale was formerly the CFO and Company Secretary at McMillan Shakespeare Limited and prior to that, Vision Systems Limited. Mr Cansdale has extensive experience in the areas of business development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, tax, financial planning and analysis, risk management, treasury and investor relations.  Prior to joining Vision Systems in 2002, Mark held senior finance positions in the insurance and financial services industry at Norwich Union Australia and KPMG. 

Richard Moldin

President, Generics Products Division

Mr Moldin has over 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He began his career with Burroughs Wellcome Co where he spent 22 years in various capacities. Upon leaving Burroughs Wellcome in 1995, Mr. Moldin spent 5 years as President and CEO of Purepac, a division of F H Faulding & Co and then one year as President and COO of Mylan Laboratories. Mr. Moldin began his career with Metrics, Inc. in 2004 where he helped secure funding for the ANDA development program from local private investors. He holds a BS and MS in Chemistry and an MBA from East Carolina University.

Vince Caretti

Operations Director

Mr Caretti has 24 years experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries and has worked with companies including Enterovax, Faulding/Mayne Pharma and Purepac (US). Mr Caretti commenced working for Faulding/Mayne Pharma in 1989 and has held various roles in product development, technical services, manufacturing, engineering and operations administration.

Stefan Cross

Vice President, Business and Corporate Development

Prior to joining Mayne Pharma, Mr Cross was Head of Marketing (Asia Pacific) for Hospira Inc., a leading global provider of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, where he was responsible for expansion of the new product portfolio and on-market product growth across all markets in the region. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry having also worked at Mayne Pharma Limited (previously FH Faulding & Co) across strategy, business development/M&A, sales and marketing, HR and finance/IT.  Mr Cross will be responsible for all in-licensing and out-licensing programs and R&D partnerships. 

Stefan Lukas

Product Development Director

Mr Lukas has spent more than 24 years at Faulding / Mayne Pharma, developing innovative oral pharmaceutical products for the international market. Mr Lukas has worked across formulation discovery, development and project management. He has a Masters in Applied Science and is a named inventor on several patents directed to modified delivery drugs.

Peter Truelove

Sales and Marketing Director

Mr Truelove has more than 25 years of experience and has spent the last 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry in sales leadership roles. Mr Truelove was formerly the sales and marketing director for Fresenius Kabi (Australia and New Zealand), a leading global provider of injectable drugs and infusion solutions. He also spent 11 years with Hospira Pty Ltd (previously Mayne Pharma Ltd and F H Faulding & Co) culminating in the position of Vice President, Commerical Operations ANZ.

Stuart Mudge

Regulatory and Clinical Director

Dr Mudge has more than 10 years experience in regulatory affairs across European, USA and Australasian markets. His background includes product development planning, global regulatory submission strategy, direct interactions with the major international regulatory authorities, dossier preparation and submission and post approval life-cycle management. Previously he was the General Manager and Senior Director at Voisin Consulting Australia Pty Ltd.

Leigh Willis

Vice President, Quality

Ms Willis has more than 20 years experience in senior quality management roles across Australia, Europe and the US. Prior to joining Mayne Pharma, she was the Quality Director of Biologics Operations at Hospira in Adelaide and Zagreb. Ms Willis has also held a number of positions across quality and compliance at Mayne Pharma Limited (previously F H Faulding & Co).

Christelle Simpson

Human Resources Director

Ms Simpson has over 13 years experience in various human resources and recruiting roles.  Currently overseeing the human resources and training functions, she joined Mayne Pharma in 2006 and has helped transition the business through both the Hospira and Halcygen acquisitions. Prior to joining Mayne Pharma, Ms Simpson spent over 5 years in human resources at SkyCity Adelaide (Adelaide Casino).

Brenton Walter

Financial Controller

Mr Walter has over 18 years experience at Faulding/Mayne. He has worked in a number of diverse financial positions within Pharma manufacturing and Pharmacy distribution. Mr Walter has wide ranging finance experience from a number of other industries including paper packaging, manufacturing and distribution and poultry growing, processing and distribution.
